Early childhood development was one of the main sources of inspiration for Moshe Feldenkrais DsC. in the development of his unique method. He carefully studied how babies and young children learn to move and how they learn through movement.
Returning to the developmental movements of childhood in a Feldenkrais way awakens the body and brain to better functioning. Lessons lead to better organisation of movement and clarity of mind. You will discover greater mobility, flexibility, balance and stability within yourself. Lessons based on child development awaken natural curiosity, playfulness and vitality. The lessons offer the experience of the joy of movement, learning and exploration of embodied wisdom. Returning to the movements of childhood as an adult is an invitation to discover your full potential.

Place and date
30 September - 1 October 2023 Česká Lípa Farm, Myslovice u Klatov
The workshop will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Pošumaví region in Statek Česká lípa (Myslovice near Klatovy). Accommodation is available in a very nice guesthouse right at the venue. The excellent local restaurant will offer a high quality menu. The nearby historical town of Klatovy, the Pošumaví region and the Šumava National Park offer many opportunities for excursions and other activities. You can go for a walk in the countryside directly from the venue.
Lecturers
The seminar will be led by experienced practitioners of the Feldenkrais Method®, Tereza Hrdličková and Jan Skovajsa. We have both been teaching the Feldenkrais Method (ATM lessons) for more than 10 years. We work individually with adults and children in private practice, give group lessons and workshops. Since 2022 we both work as "experienced practitioners" in the current FM training in Prague (2022-2026).

I completed my training in the Feldenkrais® Method at the Feldenkrais Institute in Vienna (2008-2012) and training program in working with children: "Jeremy Krauss Approach Training for Working with Special Needs Children in the Feldenkrais Method" (2012-2013). I work in my own practice in Klatovy and online. I continue my education in the Feldenkrais® Method and related fields with a focus on nervous system regulation. I am dedicated to supporting children in their development and learning. I also draw on my experience of studying psychosomatic disciplines at DAMU in the Department of Authorial Creation and Pedagogy. I have two young children. |

Workshop Content
The main content of the self-experiential workshop are Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons, which explore movements from childhood development. Principles of the Feldenkrais Method® will be experienced and discussed. We will focus on the theme of learning through experience and (self-)discovery, which Moshé Feldenkrais called organic learning.
The focus of the event is on self-development. Completion of the workshop does not give you permission to teach the ATM lessons or to give FI (Functional Integration) lessons.
